ShuttleScool ("we", "us", "our") provides a management platform used by badminton academies to handle student registration, attendance, and fee payments. This policy explains what information academies collect through ShuttleScool and how it's used.

Information We Collect

When a parent or student registers or submits information through a ShuttleScool page (web form, WhatsApp, or in person), the academy using ShuttleScool may collect:

Student's full name, date of birth, and parent/guardian name
Phone number (used for registration, payment verification, and WhatsApp notifications)
Attendance records (batch, date, and presence)
Payment information, including fee amounts and payment screenshots submitted for verification (screenshots are stored to confirm payment details such as amount, UTR/reference number, and date — we do not store full card or bank account numbers)

How Information Is Used

Information collected is used solely to operate the academy's registration, attendance, and payment workflows, including:

Verifying and processing fee payments
Sending WhatsApp notifications for registration confirmation, payment confirmation, and payment reminders
Tracking attendance and academy batch scheduling
Academy staff reviewing and approving registrations and payments

WhatsApp Messaging

ShuttleScool sends transactional WhatsApp messages (registration confirmations, payment confirmations, and monthly payment reminders) via the WhatsApp Business Platform, using the phone number provided at registration. These are limited to academy-related notifications — not marketing messages.

Data Sharing

Student and payment information is only visible to the academy's own staff and is not sold or shared with third parties, except as needed to operate the service (e.g. Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform for message delivery, and payment gateways for processing online payments).

Data Retention

Information is retained for as long as a student is registered with the academy, and as needed to maintain accurate academy records.
